Did you see the Kate Moss sculpture in the foyer?

Astonishing

Do you mean this one?

Here some other pics I took around the theatre:

The passage, view from Youngstorget entrance:

The Youngstorget entrance:

The entrance to the theatre's foyer:
https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=167 ... FX50BzuKzk
(at the moment no shows, I couldn't get in. The box office, btw., opens only on show days and only 2 hours prior to a show. You can however buy/collect tickets at every '7-11' or ' NARVESEN' which is the local News stand / snacks etc chain. These can be found galore all over the city.)

Here the Storgata entrance, when you're coming from the Central Station:

As you can see in the picture, there's a 'Cyber Café' in case you need to write reviews. There's also free Wifi in BurgerKing, the Central Station and in NSB Trains. There're prepaid 'Kontant' sim cards available from NARVESEN - I'd recomment 'Chilimobile' with 1GB usable within a month time for about 120,- kr(NOK) pay once.

Such a wealth of large posters .......

Post by tzwicky »

THM,

You have a large selection of outdoor posters listed in your post. How lucky for you!

Now's the time to start to pester whoever is in charge of those banners, once they have aged out. I snapped up one of the large Subway posters from the NYC run of BETM. I had to pay someone but the price was reasonable. It will someday be displayed on the largest patch of wall in my living room.

I really, really wanted to get my hands on a 2-story tall outdoor poster from the Ft. Lauderdale run of the touring BETM, but instead of taking it down, they left the poster up there till it faded and had wind damage .... about 18 months after the show had moved along. Pointless. I would have paid for the thing, but some lazy person just avoided my relentless pestering for an unknown reason.

Find the person in charge and put in your dibs ASAP. Yeah, your local posters are probably too large to display, but maybe you'll win a lottery and can buy a new home with a huge wall on it so you'd have a place to hang one. Wouldn't you hate it if the perfect banner for that wall went into a trash bin?

Don't accept any weird reasons why they don't sell the banners after they are out of date. Whine, bribe and be persistent. That one indoor mall banner would probably fit something smaller than a Lottery House Wall.

Ok, I'm gonna ask somebody when I'm there in September. But since this house doesn't feature shows/events on a daily/regular base, I'm afraid the theatre staff won't know anything about the advertising for the show as they certainly are hired for their respective work task for the event or periode.
Try and bother one of those people from the production company the coordinator shurely knows who hung up the posters:

Daglig leder (daily leader) Terje Lyngbø terje@scenekvelder.no

Produsent Karianne Jæger karianne@scenekvelder.no

Produksjonsleder Trude Norvik molkomtrude@scenekvelder.no

Koordinator Andrea Volsdal skirbekkandrea@scenekvelder.no

If you like, we can take up a collection to buy you one of these. It would look quite impressive on Collins Drive, don't you think?

Nils Ole Oftebro has been cast as Dad, according to the production company's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Scenekvelder/p ... =1&theater.

Edit: sun 18 sep

In the workshop-weekend clips on the production company's page http://scenekvelder.no/2014/05/forste-w ... ly-elliot/ the 3 Michaels (first clip) and the 3 Debbies (second clip) are introducing themselves with their names. But I don't seem to hear all the names properly.

Here is what I sounded out:
The Michaels : Markus - ?? Xxx Stian - Thomas
The Debbies : ?? (Ce)cilia - Katharina - Nora

According to the table from the production company's webpage - see below - the names in the first line correspond quite good with the names of the Debbies in the video.
I therefore dare to assume these are the 3 Debbies' names:

Katarina Petrovic
Nora Bratfos
Julie Winther-Larsen

Today I found this on the Scenekvelder site:

It seems they are going to make the tracking very easy. Hopefully they continue publishing the Schedule in advance :D

Vi har nå fordelt barna inn i ulike lag. Så til dere som kjenner de flotte barna som skal være med, ta en titt her så kan dere nå bestille billetter til det laget dere ønsker å se. Vi har fordelt noen av forestillingene nå.
We did now split the kids into different teams. Thus to all them, who know the brisk kids that are performing, just have a look on this schedule as you buy the tickets in order to get to see those you wish to see. We just have yet scheduled a few of the shows:

Image

Thursday 18 september
.
.
Sunday 21 september not yet scheduled

Friday 26 september Red
Saturday 27 september mat Blue
Saturday 27 september eve Red
Sunday 28 september Yellow

Friday 3 october Yellow
Saturday 4 october mat Red
Saturday 4 october eve Yellow
Sunday 5 october Blue

Saturday 11 october mat Yellow
Saturday 11 october eve Blue
Sunday 12 october Red

Friday 17 october yellow
Saturday 18 october mat blue
Saturday 18 october eve Red

In the last 3 lines are there boys' names.
In the second line from below Halvor is named, so maybe the 2 names besides are also Tallboys. So the rest are Smallboys and ?? - there's no Thomas to find in that table. It seems the Michaels aren't listed here.

Sorry I also posted on the ballet girls thread but it might belong here :D . I would be curious to know if this is going to be a London/NY/OZ sized company and what style staging(drops or Chicago) they are using? If anyone knows.

"Thomas," or "Posh Boy" as he is also called, is played by Tall Boy, as is "Kevin," the miner's son, so there would not be a separate listing for "Thomas."

I meant Thomas Kvamme Urnes, the one who plays Michael. But despite the Michaels therefore obviously aren't listed, there are 3 boys in every team anyway.
