Coming to Norway!
Re: Coming to Norway!
Strangely the video promo is not available anymore...I'd think as they're selling tickets now they would need the advertisement.
However, last week a Norwegian newspaper published this article:
http://www.ringblad.no/liv/article7138350.ece
I'm not sure if Kristoffer is going to play Older Billy? It looks like he is but they do not mention it explicitly.

Re: Coming to Norway!
It seems the writer doesn't know much about BETM and confused some bits. Or Kristoffer's gonna be Dance Captain and plays in the ensemble. It is mentioned that he is ALSO dance teacher in real life. Maybe the writer is not aware that the dance teacher role is for a woman and just got some informations wrong. Or they changed that
Re: Coming to Norway!
There are auditions on march 15th/16th.
They're looking for 20 girls including Debbie and 10 boys especially for a Michael. No mention of another Billy/understudy.

Anyone booking tickets : here's a seating chart : http://www.folketeateret.no/content/dow ... PE%201.pdf

Sounds like they found a boy to play Michael there was no official announcement or anything so I don't post it in the cast thread.
His name is Thomas Kvamme Urnes (12 years old). It's actually a pretty interesting article because it includes information about the audition process.
It sounds like he was told at the day of the audition that he got the part. And he says there will be three Michaels for three different ensembles. I find that especially interesting considering there is only one Billy. Thomas even mentioned the audition numbers of the other two boys who got it, you can search for them in the video from the first link below since I have no life I actually watched it three times till I found them all...

These are two more arcticles about the auditions held. Both include videos, the first one is more about the Michael audition (I think the featured boy did not get it because he was chewing gum while auditioning!) and the second one is more about the ballet girls.

It's an article about two girlswho auditioned and didn't get the part but most impotantly, if you scroll down there's a video of the two singing Electricity in Norwegian!
It sounds pretty cool!

Re: Coming to Norway!
That link states that school is a priority, so there will be three children for every child's role. That would mean that there will be at least two understudies for Billy. We all know that it would be impossible to have only one Billy for a show that could run months.

Could someone please provide a translation? My translator won't work for that page.
