Wet - August Holidays again. What a washout. Why do I take this time of year off - Oh yes it''s something to do with the schools. Its about time the Summer Recess was reschedule to July whne the weather is usually pretty good!
An ex-Regular and someone who was Passionate about the show but who has now found the rest of the WEST END.

Just returned to Bridlington from Lincoln, heavy showers and humid, awful.
To me the kids would be better off in July, before the nights pull in, very much like they used to be in Scotland. Working on the seafront in the summer months for over 40 years, we got more soakings in August then anytime, always had to have a change of clothing with us.
They should have a week off in mid September, that was nearly always a good month weather wise.
