The official temperature given on the 6PM news as the high here for the day was 108F. My own thermometer, which is shaded, showed 107 this afternoon. And as Rich B has said, it has also been very humid. Definitely not a day to spend outside. Thank goodness for air conditioning (and thank goodness I got a new one!).
