Thanks for that link, kport.
I think the video is new, or at least I have not seen it before, and it's excellent.

I agree. It's an excellent interview. I'm very impressed with Ruthie.
Re: Ruthie Henshall - Mrs. Wilkinson
Ruthie was sensational at the Last Night of the Proms in the Royal Albert Hall last night. Looking stunningly radiant on stage she led the way with songs from Mary Poppins accompanied by a choir and thousands of people in the hall and at four other park venues throughout the UK. Magnificent stuff.

Here is the link, for those able to access the BBC IPlayer. Ruthie's segment begins at 36.30.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... oms-part-2
It is a splendid performance, as LNOTP always is............to see the wonderful Ruthie, accompanied by thousands singing along in cities across the UK, plus the traditional end-of-proms festivities (Land of Hope and Glory, etc. A national treasure.).
It is available for six more days.

For those without BBC IPLayer access, here is is, on Youtube:

I wonder if, in 30 or 40 years, Billy Elliot the Musical will be featured at the Last Night of the Proms?
(Note the Cross of St Andrew flags (the flag of Scotland) being flown in Glasgow - soon 'Great' Britain could become somewhat 'Lesser'.)

Liam Mower and Ruthie Henshall will be on Judy Spears show between 11.15 and 11.30, today, 19th September on Radio Devon, I think they will be talking about Billy Elliot live, as well as the musical
