Ballet Girls - Ogunquit

Post by kport »

Here is a nice article about the Ballet Girls, from Seacoast Online. It is interesting to read comments from several of the girls themselves, who are all from the local region:

Watching each member of this talented team stamp their individuality on each role has been one of the (many) delights of seeing this show over many performances. They came almost 'fully formed from the brow of Zeus' from the start, and have been delightful and professional throughout. Full marks to the team that trained them in the Playhouse 'Colony' while the rest of the cast rehearsed in NYC for a fortnight - and kudos to these girls for pulling it all together, with only a couple a days of full rehearsals and techs, before the first Preview!

Here is a very nice blog article written by a Ballet Girl mom, and her tales of juggling family commitments, a vacation in Ogunquit, and having a daughter as a Ballet Girl in BETM (and the recipes look great, too!).
