Found this clip of the last production Stijn was in, 'De Kleine Blonde Dood', especially towards the end he is featured a lot:

From what I found on the internet, he got rave reviews for his portrayal. Newspapers especially emphasized his natural talent for acting and his good sense of humour. All very good news, seems like he'll be an amazing Billy!

That is a simply astonishing video. The genuine outpouring of love from the cast, as well as Stijn's modesty, are quite touching.
Most Billy's leave when they 'age out'; Stijn looks like he is about to have his first performance.
Dutch kids have pretty good English skills; he could do well on the West End, or at one of the many regionals coming up, if that is something he would want to do and if the opportunity came his way.
I think the Dutch production has made a huge contribution to further develop and promote Billy Elliot the Musical.

Stijn has to leave because of Dutch laws for protecting kids. A kid is allowed to have 23 paid performances a year when they're younger than 16 years old. For the main boys of the Dutch production (Billy and Michael), an exception was made, which allowed them to play 40 paid performances. The counter resets every January 1st.
