Stunning photos of what's going on beneath your feet in London at the moment. Let's hope the whole place doesn't fall into one big hole!

There was a documentary, many years ago (1980s?), on the BBC that looked at what exists under the streets of London. It is true that almost any place you dig will find cables, pipes, tunnels, grave sites, ruins of Roman/Saxon/Norman/Tudor/Georgian/Edwardian buildings. If a construction crew turns up any sign of a grave, a skeleton, an historic foundation or anything of historic value, all work will stop while archeologists conduct a major examination of the area, and gives the all clear that such relics are safe.

Here is a link, to part of a BBC documentary from July, that shows the works being done underneath the streets of London, in the building of Crossrail (of which the new Victoria Underground complex next the VPT is part):

I was just reading up on lizard men(because i do love fiction some people think is fact) and someone in LA said they had tunneled under la and found tunnels inhabited with lizard men...I'm doubting that though lol.
