Bill Nighy is also star of the movie PRIDE, which has been discussed quite a bit in the London section of the forum.ERinVA wrote:Skylight, starring Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy, will transfer from London to Broadway in the spring:

I'm curious if any of our UK friends have seen this play in London and what they thought of it?

I had the fortune to attend the first preview of "Skylight" Friday evening. It is a very talky script, and not the most exciting story. However Bill Nighy is such a fantastic actor it is worth going just to see him. Every breath and movement of his is fully invested. It was such a delight to watch him.
His co-star Carey Mulligan holds her own quite well. Matthew Beard did well playing a smaller role, appearing in only the first and last scenes. Matthew is also know as one of Benedict Cumberbatch's compatriots at Bletchley Park in "The Imatation Game".

News Corp's Wall Street Journal is a bit 'disappointed' with Skylight:

I tend to avoid taking seriously anything from a Murdoch paper!
