Billy will be showing up in Lugano/Ticino on February 21 and 22, 2017.

I don't know if this is a continuation of the tour, or a stand alone local production. Maybe someone can give us more information.

At the bottom of the notice is a link to the PeepArrow site, which (if I remember correctly) produced the previous Italian shows. http://www.billyelliot.it/

This appears to be a continuation of the Tour in mostly smaller cities across Italy, although it's unclear at this point how many, if any, of the past cast from Rome and what I'll call the first Italian Tour will be involved.

Here's publicity for the tour's arrival in Milan at the Teatro Nuovo, running from December 10, 2016 through January 10, 2017:

Alessandro Frola will again play Billy.

Note that article is dated November 30, 2015. The article refers to last year's Italian tour.

The new version for 2017 that I referred to in an earlier post in this thread doesn't start up until the end of January in Ancona.

You can see the complete tour itinerary here: https://betm.theskykid.com/billy-elliot ... und-world/ (Future Productions Tab).

While the cast for the new tour hasn't been announced, I would be very surprised if Alessandro Frola plays Billy. Recent pictures show a very tall young man who has clearly outgrown the role.
