I'm the same. If someone in NA tries the bluray and it works, then I'll order it from Amazon.co.uk.

I think Cantonese is spoken in Hong Kong & that is one of the subtitle options on the UK blu-ray....

the UK is subtitled in region b areas PLUS a couple region a areas(mandarin and Cantonese and thai)...though that doesn't mean a lot if ALL the different regions have the same subtitles...region c except for china seems out of luck lol. Japan too.

Is that for real? Something has been cut from the show on the DVD?

I watched most of the DVD last night and I'm not aware of any lines having been cut?

In fact a few were added for the show (which have now stuck) including when Billy says 'Don't go' to Dead Mum during the letter.

I've not noticed any lines cut, and I'm sure I would, although you can see some shots have been shortened for continuity, like the time the curtain falls onto small boy, actually it fell in front of him and he steps forward and ducks under it. Also the punches have been edited to make it realistic. I think the inter-scene links, and delays for audience clapping are edited too. All are improvements except possibly the shadow dance, which is just odd. Loads more close ups and less non-commital wide angle moving camera shots.

I have to admit that I didn't notice any lines cut either. When I saw the cinema showing some of the scenes looked a bit dark but that's the way they are on a stage. However, subsequent clever editing and changes of camera angle to give better lighted views of the subject are extremely well done.
