Hi, my name is Naoise (Pronunciation: Neesha) and I think it’s time to introduce myself into this forum. I have been a member for about a week now but haven’t gotten around to saying hello as it is exam week and I’ve not had much time!
I am Irish but have been living in Scotland for 14 years now. My friend (whom also happens to be a member in this forum), let me borrow a copy of their Billy Elliot Live DVD when it first came out because I have been wanting to see the film ever since I was younger but never got round to watching it! I have now seen both the film and musical and hoping to see the musical live in London this year and can honestly say it is one of the most incredible things I have ever watched! Elliott Hanna was such a perfect Billy and I was in awe of his performance for being so young and able to move so many people with his dancing, acting and singing (as well as all the other Billy's are capable of I am sure)! The storyline was such a simple idea turned into something so beautiful!
