Jake's dad, Mike, is a former NFL center for the Baltimore Ravens, and currently hosts sports shows on Boston's 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Adam Pelty gave Jake more to do than most Small Boys are given at NSMT, and he did a fine job throughout. The first minute is entirely given over to SB, before he pops the video cassette in the machine and the newsreel begins.

Jake will play Michael Banks in North Shore Music Theatre's production of Mary Poppins. He will do so at the age of 9. Besides BETM last autumn, he has played in other productions.

He is then cast in NSMT's production of Singing In the Rain. His dream is to be on Broadway.

Jake Ryan Flynn has won BroadwayWorld Boston's 2016 Best Actor in A Musical Award for his performance in North Shore Music Theatre's production of Mary Poppins. Truly a remarkable achievement by the bairn.

I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this past weekend and was fortunate to see Jake as Charlie. He did a fantastic job!

Jake will return to the stage at NSMT this summer. He has been cast in their production of "Peter Pan", playing John Darling. The show runs July 10-22.
