In fact, Jake is there on stage right now, as Young Patrick in NSMT's production of MAME. I saw it yesterday, and he gave an assured and funny performance.

One other former Small Boy is there as his standby: Luke Gold, who played Small Boy at The Palace Theatre, Manchester, NH.

There will be another Small Boy joining Jake in Peter Pan: Ben Choi-Harris (Wheelock) has been cast as standby for Michael Darling. In the meantime, Ben is prepping to play Michael in Marblehead Little Theatre's production of Mary Poppins:

And to round off the BETM connections: Brian Padgett (Mr Braithwaite there in 2015, and ensemble at The Maltz the same year) will be playing Gentleman Starkey.

Jake is part of Netflix's John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch. The question becomes, given Jake's Billy Elliot background, is he deliberately (and successfully) sneaking a particular gesture past the content editors?

Here's Jake in this very amusing take on life during quarantine. "Good Morning Quarantine" is his version of "Good Morning Baltimore" from "Hairspray".

The new musical adaptation of Mrs. Doubtfire was on the verge of opening when the pandemic hit. The good news for Jake and his young castmates is all of them are returning to the show when it opens this fall. They have recently started rehearsals.

Frank DiLella talks to young "Mrs. Doubtfire" star Jake Ryan Flynn about how he has been able to stay in the Broadway musical despite having grown six inches and having his voice deepen in the 18+ months since the COVID pandemic shut down production. Plus, Jake's mom and dad talk about how they've had to uproot their family from Massachusetts in order to help their oldest son live out his Broadway dreams.
