BWW Review: MATTHEW BOURNE'S SWAN LAKE, King's Theatre Glasgow
Theatre with lasting cultural impact is not something that's created often. Especially not via modern ballet. Yet Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake has that impact, and deservingly so.

In 1995, Bourne created headlines across the world with his production - even soaring into popular culture through the final scenes of the film Billy Elliot. Bourne showcased his gift of flipping the familiar by turning Tchaikovsky's score into a ballet of battles in identity, love and the psychological.

Hello, been late here and I've just spent a whole day reading all the 63 pages of discussion. What a marvellous and informative post! I've found really great things about Liam. Those are really valuable information, especially all those reviews to his performance throughout these years.
I just want to say thank you so much for still preserving all the information. Though a lot of links are unavailable now, the conversation you made in these whole ten years are really enjoyable and lovely to read.
Sadly there has been less and less reply... Where do all the Liam fans talk about him now? Is there a place like that?

The Forum has slowed down a bit lately in the aftermath of the closing of the London production, but you've come by at just the right time, actually! We're making some great updates with a new team and much more. This forum continues to be the very best place to get updates on former Billy Elliot cast members and much more on everything Billy Elliot related. We keep things focused on professional life updates for the most part, not on personal gossip, but you'll soon find this is very much the place to be! :D

Be sure to follow and support Liam too on his public social media. He's on Instagram as https://www.instagram.com/liammower/.

Two Billy's are in this photo.

Liam is third from the left. Harrison Dowell is all the way to the right.

I am looking forward to being able to watch this performance on Sadler's Wells' website.
