This is another similar article (to the one linked in the post just before this one) appearing in the Washington Blade. In it, Signature Theatre Director Matthew Gardiner describes how he went from opposing doing BETM at Signature to falling in love with it and its challenges. A great read...

Here's a short clip of Liam doing the final segment of "Electricity". It looks like a fairly small stage.

You’ll be happy you gave yourself a night off to watch Billy Elliot soar again.
Great report.

I believe this link is also posted in the Arlington Reviews section.
I'm happy to see that the show is getting good reviews in the press, as I am planning to see it in December. It's been too long since I've seen Billy express himself!

For those interested in seeing more than one performance to catch both Billys, there is a calendar on the website. The Billys, tall and small boys, and ballet girls, are grouped into two teams: the Bennies and the Jets.

Arlington’s Signature Theatre in the heart of the Shirlington district is now performing “Billy Elliot the Musical” through January 6. In my life as a devotee of the musical theatre, I rank this show as my Number One. I’ve seen it multiple times in New York, the Kennedy Center and now in Arlington and wrote a chapter about it in my book, “Extraordinary Hearts.”

If you are of the mood to indulge, this Virginia conservative podcast (by someone called 'Rick Sincere') rips the plot and music of Billy Elliot to shreds ('...obnoxious as it is wrong-headed')_('This is one Christmas present best left in the box..')
However, there is praise for the cast, and especially Owen Tabaka.
