Iain of "Iain Loves Theater" gives his review of the show at Signature Theatre. It's great to hear things from a kid's perspective. :D

Just a note: Iain is the star of the TV show "Young Sheldon," the spin-off of "Big Bang Theory." He is Jim Parsons' mini-me. :D

Just a note: Iain's father is Euan Morton. He is currently playing King George in Hamilton on Broadway. Morton also played Boy George on Broadway in Taboo.

I understand that Signature Theatre is located in a large metropolitan area. That, in part, accounts for the many media reviews published there about their version of BETM. And all of them I've read, that have been posted in this thread, are very positive, which speaks to the excellence of this regional edition of the show. Thank you to everyone who have posted these reviews. Sounds like a great show! Billy is alive and well in America.

This review from Broadway World (Baltimore) calls the Signature Theatre BETM production "Just Plain Spectacular"

That is an excellent description of the Signature Theatre production, although I have to say I'm wondering how the characterization came about of "[Billy's] father is a coal miner who loses his job thanks to Prime Minister Maggie Thatcher". Loses his job??? He goes on strike from his job, crosses a picket line which is a very significant event and ultimately returns to his job. So where does "loses his job" figure into the picture? :?
