This is a newly posted video dealing with the pandemic and how it has impacted the performing arts and individual performers in the United KIngdom. It weaves in and out of the original Billy Elliot film and the BETM live performance with Elliott Hanna, making some interesting observations on the way. The first five minutes deals with the financials of the arts in general and may be of less interest to those living outside the United Kingdom. You may or may not agree with some of the points put forward about Billy Elliot, but they are at least thoughtful - not something you can always say about an opinion piece.
