Wow. Kate writes so well. What a moving account, from the cast perspective, of Trent's last show.

I'd go so far as to say she writes a review almost as well as some of our veteran forum members :)

Kate's updated her blog on the BETM site. (http://www.billyelliotbroadway.com/blog/)

Love so much that she takes the time to write these blog posts. Always a joy to read, as she is quite a good writer.

"After almost two weeks of horrible grey cold rain, the sun has broken through the skies above New York City. It seems when the sun comes out the population on the sidewalks doubles. If I’m walking down 8th from Columbus Circle to the Stage Door on 46th, it can take me twice as long to dodge the tourists as it did in January.

Over in Central Park the humans are swarming the mounds of rock that jut up from the burgeoning green, absorbing the heat that focuses on the reflective surface. And in a mirroring display, the heads of the daffodils on the gradient sides of the park paths are clambering to catch a taste of sun and heat. Growth. Newness. Promise."

What a lovely description of spring.

Thanks for letting us know about the update. :D

All you Shakespeare-phobes (yes, you, certain forum members ;)) take note: Don't let yourselves be outclassed by a twelve year-old boy! 8-) Yay, Trevor!

Kate Hennig is really taken this role and whipped it to the next level. I can't say enough about Kate's work, it’s outstanding. The smoking, the eye movement, the hard scrabble look along with that swagger is a dead on for her part. I love Shine and Solidarity more each time I see them, I know why because of Kate's ability for sure.

Wow quite a lot took place on May 14 and 15. Thanks to Kate for her fine reporting on the back stage drama.
