I would say 'Break a leg'....but I am too late! So, I hope he had a blast!

I have noticed that these official notices tend to be made the day of the debut; I can think of no exceptions to that rule in the last two years or so. While we cannot claim it to be the inviolate truth, experience indicates that it is a pretty sound assumption that 'Official Announcement' is also 'Official Debut'.

That is usually the case, but every rule has an exception, so if a date isn't specified for a new starter, or there is no advance notice during the day on the BETM facebook, then we wait until we learn what the board said before adding the person to Current Cast.
